A critical revision of the powdery mildew fungi (Erysiphaceae, Ascomycota) of Ukraine: Arthrocladiella and Blumeria

The previously compiled list of species powdery mildew fungi Ukraine was published more than 30 years ago. That included 108 belonging to 12 genera. However, over the past three decades, numerous changes have been made in system former order Erysiphales, particular, its generic composition; moreover, dozens new described. At same time, many were introduced Europe, including Ukraine, from East Asia and North America. Thus, composition has undergone significant requires a critical revision. Therefore, series relevant articles is planned be published. This article, first series, deals with small genera Arthrocladiella Blumeria. A these recorded (Arthrocladiella mougeotii, Blumeria avenae, B. bulbigera, dactylidis, graminicola, graminis, hordei), their distribution by regions key for identification are provided. mougeotii found occur occasionally only nine regions, mainly southern part primarily forest-steppe steppe zones on South Coast Crimea. avenae two Crimea Central Polissya should also considered rare Ukraine. remaining observed quite often registered 14–24 while graminicola graminis regarded as most common ones.
